Versah
The Versah dental implant technique is a modern approach based on the concept of osseodensification, which focuses on densifying the bone instead of removing it as in traditional drilling. It uses special instruments called Densah Burs, which rotate in a reverse direction to compact the bone around the implant site, thereby increasing its density and primary stability. This method offers several advantages, including enhanced initial implant stability, reduced bone loss, and faster healing. It can also be used for ridge expansion and sinus lifting in a minimally invasive manner. However, the technique requires a high level of surgical skill, is not suitable for all cases, and tends to be more costly than conventional implant preparation methods.
